The Election Commission has warned the candidates and political parties that action will be taken against those who give false information, propaganda and hate speech.
The commission has warned to stop such activities saying that false information, propaganda and hate speech are being posted on social media. Otherwise, the Election Commission has stated that it will take action in accordance with Article 23 of the Election Offenses Act and the prevailing law.
