Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.
Of the confirmed cases: 12 cases were detected through the RT-PCR and 2 from the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the total samples 5969338 were tested through RT-PCR and 1452639 through the Antigen method. Currently, there are 491 active cases in the country as 20 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12019 to date.
