The Ukrainian military has claimed that it had shot down five Russian planes and a helicopter near a rebel-held enclave in the east of the country.
"According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, five attack planes and a helicopter were shot down in the area of the joint military operation today, February 24," the army's general staff said.
