General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee Thongloun Sisoulith, chaired a midterm plenary meeting of the 11th LPRP, to discuss and consider several important issues in the country.
The meeting was held in Lao capital Vientiane on Aug. 14 to 18.
It reviewed the implementation of the resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Party, the ninth five-year National Socio-economic Development Plan, and the two national agendas on addressing financial and economic difficulties and drug issues, Lao News Agency (KPL) reported on Saturday.
The meeting also considered a draft resolution on further promoting and deepening the implementation of the innovation policy in Laos.
