Australia has also banned Tiktok. The Chinese-owned 'application' has been excluded from federal government equipment.
Attorney General Mark Dreyfus said that TikTok was banned on federal government equipment at the suggestion of the country's intelligence and security agencies. He also said that the ban would be implemented as soon as possible.
Earlier, the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and New Zealand banned the application.
