The Buddhist Translation Committee has translated the Ashta Saharshika Pragya Parmita into Nepali, divided into 32 sections. Releasing the book, Buddhist gurus Gosek Rinpoche and Khangser Rinpoche expressed the belief that the promotion of Buddhist philosophy and literature would reduce violence in the current context of war, strife, polarization of power in the international community and unrest in the human community.
Buddhist scholars Punya Prasad Parajuli, Milan Shakya and others said that the work was useful in confirming the philosophical belief that there is no independent existence of any object in Buddhist literature and reviewed it.
Executive Director of the Bouddhanath Area Development Committee, Basanta Lama, expressed his commitment to do his best for the promotion of Buddhist philosophy, literature and culture. Tika Sherpa expressed the view that the teachings of Buddha's peace, harmony and brotherhood would spread in the world and world peace would be maintained if the original texts of Buddhist literature were written in Sanskrit and Bhota languages.
