Dhiraj Shrestha kept petrol pump owner's wife hostage for not repaying his loan in Bhaktapur.
The petrol pump owner has been identified as Nirman Bomjan. Bomjan is the owner of the Shrestha Local Petrol Pump. The woman has been revealed as Chamelimaya Syangtan, wife of Bomjan.
Shrestha picked up Bomjan's wife after he failed to repay Shrestha's loan worth Rs 500,000, according to a police source.
Shrestha took Syangtan in a taxi and kept hostage at Bode, Bhaktapur. Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed from Crime Division apprehended Shrestha.
