President Ramchandra Poudel has asked to find a solution to this problem by worrying about why the villages are dying due to the lack of people who can enjoy them despite the development in the villages after democracy.

"Despite the development in education, communication, roads, health, and electrification of the country after democracy, why is the village languishing today due to the lack of people to use it? Everyone's concern should be focused on this, including policymakers and government," he said while speaking at a function organized on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Saraswati Multiple Campus where he studied.

He said that it is necessary to provide employment and skill-based education to stop the trend of foreign migration of thousands of Nepalese youths for education and employment.

He emphasized that the education of any country should be determined according to the social, and economic conditions and needs of the country. He said that education policies and programs that help in the development of the country in the changing situation and can be competitive in the world market are the need of the day.

"There is a need for a collective effort, which needs to be started from educational institutions that provide higher education", President Paudel said.

He said that he was very happy to attend the 65th anniversary of Saraswati Multipurpose Campus, the oldest educational institution in the country, where he had the opportunity to study.

"I am a bit emotional as I am present here today as the energetic time of my life and my participation in the movement for the establishment of democracy in the country is also connected with this campus. The energy and inspiration given by the environment of this campus to intensify the political consciousness within me will always be memorable for me", he said.

He mentioned that this campus is also a source of inspiration for the education sector of Nepal, which provides an opportunity for the children of the Nepalese people to study higher education in an affordable and accessible manner even in those days when it is very difficult for the children of all Nepalis to get education.

He said that due to the tireless efforts of professors who are experts in various subjects and the hard work of students, Saraswati Campus has the opportunity to prove itself.

During the ceremony, President Paudel expressed his respect to Professor Dr. Shankarraj Pathak, who taught him at Saraswati Campus, and said that it is our culture to always respect teachers.
