Senior litterateur and literary journalist Nagendra Raj Sharma was feted in here on Sunday.
Sharma was honoured for his significant contributions to literary journalism and literature.
On behalf of around 50 organisations, historian and centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi felicitated Sharma at a programme organised by Nagendra Raj Sharma Felicitation Ceremony Committee.
Joshi has been publishing a literary magazine called Abhibyakti since 2027 BS. Litterateur Sharma thanked all for felicitating him in a grand ceremony and added that he has been continuously publishing the magazine amid ups and downs.
Though the preparations were made to organise the felicitation programme last year, it was postponed due to COVID-19.
On the occasion, litterateur Shree Om Shrestha, Kishor Pahadi, Rama Sharma, among others talked about Sharma's literary contribution.
'Nagendra Raj Sharma Samaya Grantha' and a book 'Yayabar' were unveiled on the occasion.
