The 12th National Conference of the Progressive Writers' Association held today has elected a 45-member Central Committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Madhusudan Giri.
Sameer Singh and Namuna Sharma have been elected as Vice Chairmen, Dr Devi Dulal as General Secretary, Bal Mukund Karki as Deputy General Secretary, Dal Bahadur Gurung and Giri Prasad Budha as Secretaries and Baba Basnet as Treasurer. The conference has selected a 46-member council.
Retired Chairman Dr. Jiveendra Dev Giri handed over the charge to the elected office bearers while Election Committee Coordinator Hari Prasad Bhandari administered the oath of office.
