A bus carrying pilgrims from Doleshwor Mahadev Temple of Sipadol at Suryabinayak Municipality-8 in Bhaktapur district met with an accident on Monday leaving 14 people injured.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Metropolitan Police Range Bhaktapur Raju Pandey said the bus (Ba 3 Kha 3784) met with an accident while returning to Bhaktapur from Doleshwor Temple. The bus skidded off the road after losing control.
The locals rushed the injured to the hospitals after rescuing them. Of the injured ones, four are being treated at Dr Iwamura Memorial Hospital and one in Kathmandu Medical College, Hospital, at Sinamangal.
Likewise, nine others returned home after receiving treatment at Dr Iwamura Memorial Hospital and Madhyapur Thimi Hospital.
