Water from the Melamchi rivulet at Helambu rural municipality-1 in Sindhupalchowk district has reached the capital a week ago through a tunnel at Ambathan.
The landslides and flood triggered by incessant rainfall last week have caused damage worth more than Rs one billion to the Melamchi Water Supply Project structures.
