The Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP) which has collaborated to form a coalition government in Gandaki Province has got lucky. There are just two lawmakers of JSP in the province’s National Assembly and since they supported Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Pokhrel Nepali during the vote of confidence both are going to be rewarded with ministerial berths.
At the moment Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre) and the Upendra Yadav-led faction of JSP have been teaming up to form governments across the country.
Lawmaker Hari Sharan Acharya has already been appointed a minister while Dhanmaya Pokhrel Lama will also be made a minister of the provincial government of Gandaki soon.
